PowerPrep Plus Food Processor, Red I have had Cuisinart food processors for 30 years, and has loved them! Bought this one 2 years ago to replace by 25+ year old model which was smaller and had cracked bowls. The unit works great, except for the buttons. After a year of regular use, the film on the buttons cracked, and it wasn't long before they just peeled off. Now, even the slightest moisture gets in and shorts out the buttons. Unit now has to be unplugged to stop it. I'm going back to the old level-type of controls! Researching food processors for about a year then waiting for a good deal to purchase one. Thanks Amazon. The reviews I read will be helpful for usage and maintenance. It is so much easier to prepare certain foods with my PowerPrep Plus than with my blender. Now I can make soups, sauces and spreads with little effort. It is easy to assemble, clean and most of all it is quiet! |
